Focus On Movement is owned and managed by Christine Jervis, a university graduate with many relevant qualifications in Massage and Swimming.
In her younger years, Christine spent a lot of time swimming, competing at State and National Levels and this exposed her to a lot of massage and water! After working as a photographer for two years, she decided to combine all her skills and also learn some new things.
Christine is constantly attending seminars, conferences, National workshops and buying/following journals, magazines, books and DVDs. As a mother to Max, Christine knows how precious (and also challenging!) life as a working parent can be. She loves spending her spare time with her family (who live close by) and her husband Aaron, who is busy running his own computer business in Cairns.
In 2016, Christine presented at the Australian Swim Coaches and Teachers’ Association National Conference, sharing the highlights and helpful features of our swim school and how we successfully work with babies from birth, using massage and aquatics.
